Unity Email Count notifications filling single subscriber inbox

In the last week one of our subscribers has started getting monstrous numbers (59,000 at last count) of notification from unity with a subject of Message notification and a content of:

Email Count: 59970

903-446-5967

(where the Email count keeps rising of course).

No message notification settings are on on his box - any ideas?

Thanks!

Re: Unity Email Count notifications filling single subscriber in

well... SOMEone has a text pager/email notification trigger on pointing at this guy's inbox. You can search the Notification Device table in UnityDB in SQL to find a device that has the email address that points to this guy's box. If you do this in CUDLE (you can snag the latest off www.CiscoUnityTools.com) you can easily see the owner of the device and work backwards.

The most common scenario here is the user has an email notification that they've setup to trigger on a new email and to notify them individually of every new email every time (i.e. as opposed to using the default "batch" delivery option). This would cause a notificaiton "loop" like that - I've seen this before. Make _extra_ sure that person has no active notificiation devices on their account since what you describe is a pretty classic email notificaiton configuration boo-boo.
