Well... I'm not an expert on the W32Time stuff in Win2K, but I ran around and asked some smart folks that are and they agreed that this wont cause a problem.
According to one source that declined to be interviewed on camera: "There's no issues with w32time as long as failure to sync time doesn't cause any authentication problems, which currently shouldn't be the case."
