Unity services stopped over the weekend with the following error:

The application, exe\DSAMAIN.dbg, generated an application error The error occurred on 5/26/2001 @ 23:58:10.861 The exception generated was 80000003 at address 77f762e8 (DbgBreakPoint)

The server was rebooted and services needed to be manually restarted. Appears to operate normally at this time. Any ideas on the source of the failure?

Second item: Receiving "out of license" messages for NT and Exchange 5.5 in Unity. This error has apparently been ongoing and doesn't appear related to the above issue.

Any info would be appreciated.

Brian Carscadden
Sr. System Engineer
CCNA, CCDA, CIPT, MCP
TransNet Corporation
908 253-0500

DSAMAIN is the service we go through when pulling/pushing data to the Exchange directory via the LDAP port. However, searching on MSDN for that error value turned up a bunch of hits on SNA server problems, so I'm not sure what the conneciton here would be... Any chance you guys are using SNA?

The license thing can be ignored. The MS license service is riddled with bugs. You can, in fact, just disable the service entirely if you want those errors to go away.
