Unity express and WAN failure

Folks,

If i register a unity express with my centralized callmanager and the WAN connection goes down, will the phones in SRST mode at the remote location be able to access voicemail.

In other words, does SRST talk to unity expess using SIP if the primary connection for unity express (callmanager) goes down?

Thanks

Re: Unity express and WAN failure

Yes, but there's some configuration required. See:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/sw/voicesw/ps5520/products_configuration_example09186a0080289ef0.shtml#srst

The only real caveat is that MWI currently will not work for the phones while in SRST mode. That will be addressed in a future CUE release, to my knowledge.
