Importing user data into Cisco Unity Express (CUE) from the Cisco CallManager may fail with an error such as "Error while determining CCM version -1".
CUE is properly registered to the CallManager and calls to voicemail and the auto attendant (if configured) work without issue.
The only issue is when importing user, the error "Error while determining CCM version -1" is displayed.
CUE tries to open an http connection to CCM (specifically: http:///CCMPluginsServer/CiscoJTAPIClient.exe) in the process of determining the CCM version. In this particular case, the HTTP request fails and hence it is unable to determine the ccm version. As a
result, user import will not work.
You must make sure that there HTTP access to the URL is not blocked. If the default URL path was changed (in the CCM admin pages), this may also cause an issue. The "CCMaddress" part of the URL will be the "primary" CallManager configured in CUE.
