Unity for Mac?

Do Unity's unified messaging features currently work with Outlook for Macintosh (or any Mac application)? If not, will there be support for the Mac in the future? Or maybe a web based client?

Re: Unity for Mac?

Currently there is no client support for the Mac. You cannot install the VMO form on Outlook for Mac.

That said, voice mails will show up as emails with attached WAV files and those files do play on the Mac provided you're using the default MuLaw audio format.

Of course replies to these voice mails will be sent as emails, but at least you can retrieve messages from the desktop via Macs.

Yes, there is a web based interface being worked on as part of the Connection product line. You might post a question over there to get some more details from Tim and the folks on where they are going with this.
