Unity in Hotel Environment

Anyone out there put Unity in a Hotel? How do you handle the deleting of subscriber messages upon checkout? Did you tie into the Proprty Management System, PMS? If so, how seamless was this PMS integration, ...difficult or easy?, ..and which PMS. Thanks.

Currently Unity doesn't have any native support for an HVM/PMS integration. My group is working with the folks from Precipia to provide such an interface and include a special hotel guest conversation - this will take care of check in/outs, room moves and the like - nothing fancy in this first version (i.e. maid status updates from the phone, allowing guests to set wakeup calls over the TUI etc...) but just basic PMS features.

I don't have a date for beta but we should be able to deploy this on existing Unity 3.1 systems before the end of the year in an EFT capacity. If you're interested in following up on this, email me directly at "lindborg@cisco.com" and we'll see what can be done.
