unity installation

installing only unity without callmanager, do i need to have callmanager to see ports configure. Not able to see any configure ports

the MIU will initalize lines for each TAPI port found up to the maximum on the key (or two if no key is there). If you have no TAPI devices installed (i.e. the CM TSP or the Dialogic TSP) then you will have no ports available to configure when Unity comes up.

well I have installed avtsp too but still cant find any ports,

the TSP will only report devices back if it's hooked up to CM ports - you can't trick it into thinking there are ports there that are not (at least not easily). I'm unclear why you are trying to do this in the first place...
