Unity Off-box install.

Is there any compelling reason to do an on-box install of Unity at this point?

Given a non-cluster/Exchange is already in place, do you lose anything in going off-box?

Re: Unity Off-box install.

Assuming you're referring to Exchange, on or off the Unity server. For total unified messaging, it's usually off-box.

Some sites want to have a mix of both unified and voicemail only subscribers, in those cases they might want the vm only folks homed on the Unity Exchange server. Other times it can help in cases where people are migrated to UM in small groups to make in-house support a bit easier.
