We're having problems with the Unity image disks hanging at various points in the installation process. There will be no activity or progress for at least 30 minutes and each attempt has a similar result. It has hung 3 times (7%, 17%, and 22%) and we must reboot to exit. Does this mean we have a hardware issue? The platform is an MCS 7827.
It's really hard to say. You might try to install with a different OS CD (like Windows 2000) and see if that works. If so, TAC can FedEx you a new set of CDs. If not, TAC can get Compaq out onsite to work on the hardware.
