unity ports

For unity 3.1 we have an option of 50 user with 4 sessions.

Does this really mean that total capacity is 50 user and 4 user can be active at a time?

If we have 50 users across the wan how many text-speech ports do i require?

For personal assistant there is an option of 10 users. For a 50 user IPtel case

will the pa of 10 users suffice?

Re: unity ports

We are using Unity 3.1.3 and for now we bought the 50 users with 4 sessions. We currently have approx. 30 IP sets and that license is sufficient. The 50 users means you can define up to 50 users on Unity and four sessions means you have four voice ports and yes that means 4 users can log into Unity at any one time. My guess is that if you have 50 IP sets that 4 ports would get you by. If not its just a license issue and if you find that 4 ports is not enough then buy the next increment. By the way, we have found that Unity is a very solid product.

We aren't using PA yet so I can't help there, but its really up to you in how many people have a need for PA in your organization. My guess would be that the 10 user license would be more than enough. Just my 2 cents.
