unity redundancy

I have a call manager cluster running with one unity server. Can a second unity be added as a backup and if so how?

I believe that Unity will support clustering in release 3.0 and up. If you are running 2.4 this cannot be done.

If you're running 2.4 and can't do clustering is there anything else you can do to provide some form of redundancy in case your unity server stops functioning?
