Unity Server Removal

We are doing a clean install of Unity 4.0(2) on a new server. There is an existing Unity 3.6(2) server in the environment with issues, so we got the go ahead to use a new box and do a clean install. My question is: Is there a Cisco recommended procedure to remove the Unity Software/Server from Domain/AD/Exchange? I would think that AD & Exchange are still going to look for the old Unity server unless removed properly. I am more concerned with the Unity removal. The server will be removed correctly from the domain through Windows. Exchange is not on the old box and it is not a DC. I am concerned that the old server has some "hooks" in to AD or Exchange that need to be removed correctly so that it will not be referenced. If you can provide me with any info or documentation it would be greatly appreciatted

Thank you

James
