Hi, Is there any way that when a call comes from the PSTN, Unity should prompt User with the Greeting and then ask for the extension to reach. I know that I can do this with the help of IVR but Is there any alternative in UNITY. Caller--PSTN----Gateway---CallManager--Unity---Subscriber. Thanks

Yes. Unity does have an Auto Attendant function you can use. You would simply make your gateway PLAR incoming calls to the Unity extention.

Unity has an Opening Greeting Call Handler which any call coming in from an extension/line which does not have a Subscriber associated will hear. If you want all of your PSTN calls from a specific gateway to go to that greeting you should direct all your calls from that gateway to the VM pilot, when Unity answers it will see no integration and play that Greeting. If you want to do it with a Subscriber box, create a DN and an associated Subscriber on the CCM and FWD always to the VM Pilot.
