Unity Text-To-Speech (TTS) altering

Is there any way to change the speed at which the TTS is played (slower) when accessing e-mails. I am currently running Unity 3.1(5)?

I saw another post talking about altering TTS speed for IPCC that suggested the following:

(1) Open c:\program files\wfavvid\TTS.properties in any text editor

(2) Modify the value of speed for the appropriate language-gender combination, eg. If you want to change the speed for US English, male, modify #USEnglish_Male= to USEnglish_Male=<newvalue>

(3) Save the file and restart the CRS engine

I can't find the file or directory on my Unity server to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Unity Text-To-Speech (TTS) altering

there's no supported way to do this on Unity (i.e. we don't allow customization of the TTS engine playback characteristics, including the speed). I'll ping the media folks when they're back in the office (probably Monday) and follow up if there any "back door" way you can do this - you just wont be able to get TAC help with it.
