Unity Tranfer to sign-in

When someone attempts to sign-in to acess their voice mail from an outside line they get prompted to enter their user ID and password and then it asks if they want to leave a voice message for the number dialed. I want to go directly to the callers voice mail without the option to leave a message for the number dialed. How do I do that?

If you're getting this then the number you're forwarding from into Unity must be associated with a subscriber or a call handler in the system.

Unity assumes that if you forwarded from someone's extension and then sign in to your mailbox, you want to leave a sub to sub message for that user. The way to get rid of this is to make sure you have your lines setup such that the forwarding number for the hunt group or however you have it setup does not correspond to a subscriber or a call handler in your system (it's a bad idea to have this configured that way regardless).

You can use the call viewer in the Tools Depot or the Unity program group to see what ID is being passed to Unity as the forwarding number and the calling number to see what's happening. Then look that ID up in the call handlers collection or the subscribers collection in the SA to run down where the association is being made.
