Hi,

Our customer has licence for VM but will be buying license for UM shortly.We are yet to install Unity.We have to integrate Unity with the existing Exchange 2000 & domain.With existing licence Can I integrate Unity with existing mail box(for Unified Messaging feature)?Will Unity allow me to do this as existing license is only for VM? If it allows can I go ahead and integrate with the existing mailbox(used for e-mail)? will this be a licence violation?

If I upgrade the licence on unity server from demo to VM & later to UM,will this effect the mail box used for voice messaging.

What is the best way to go about.

Unity code will not block you from doing it but it will be a licensing violation. VM only systems can’t legally service mailboxes used for email.
