Unity Upgradation on new server from 3.0 to 3.x

My client has unified messaging with exchange 5.5, on unity server which is in the same site as an enterprise server. I wanna install unity on a different server exactly a copy of the existing server with a version 3.1(4). How I can achieve the things with messages too. My client got 2000 exchnage accounts in a site and only 40 configured for UM which is installed on the existing unity ser ver. What are the utilites for backing up and restoring unity specific configurations from 3.0 to 3.1. Where are the mailboxes stored for the UM subscribers and how to move those on a new server.

User mailboxes are stored in Exchange. Here's a link that discusses upgrading from 3.0 to 3.1:

Thanks this link doesnt say anything about upgrading on new server.

Actually, it does. Here's the very first paragraph:

"This task list contains all possible upgrade tasks for upgrading a Cisco Unity 3.0 system to version 3.1 and for upgrading an existing 3.1 system."
