I have 2 Unity sites where we'll be installing 3.1(5) with failover. My questions revolves around whether to set up all servers as DCs.
Do I promote the primary Unity server to a DC then add the failover Unity server to the domain then promote the failover Unity server to a DC? Is this best practice? The guide on this wasn't very explicit.
Since failover requires Exchange to be off box I would recommend making that be the domain controller. There isn't any technical reason the Unity servers can't be DCs, I just prefer to keep Exchange and AD off Unity whenever possible.
