Unity Voice Mail

How do I configure different extensions on the same IP Phone to use one voice mail box.

For example, I have a 7960 with extension 1000 and 2000, and the user in Unity VM, has his voice mail configured for extension 2000.

How do I get both extensions to share the same voice mail box in unity for a user?

You can program Alternate extensions in Unity.

Log in to Unity SA

Find the Subscriber that you what to have multiple extensions.

On the Left side of the window you will see a selection for Extension.

Add the Extension that you want to have has an alternate.

Adding to Adam's response:

If you have two phones (with two diff extensions) and you want both phone to be able to share on VM-box, you will probably want to have both phones' MWI light up when you get a message.

On Unity Subscriber page, select the subcriber.

On the left pane, select Messages

For the "MWI Extensions", you can click on "Add" button to add a second extension in addition to X (X=Extension set on Profile-page)
