Unity has stopped working abruptly. Service will not start. Event veiwer message is "Doh logon failed due to outside caller object access error: Unspecified error" . Trying to start AvCsMgr service brings message of "Error 2186: the service is not responding to the control function". Please help - we have been without voice mail since Friday - CEO not pleased.<br><br>
the forum is really not the appropriate place to get help with a down system like this. You need to call our support folks.
From the error message I can guess that something happened to the "Unity Messaging System - " account in Exchange since this is the guy that we send all outside caller messages on behalf of. If the account has been removed, we will recreate it automatically at start up (as well as the message profile in the mail applet).
You can try removing that account and restarting so we rebuild it, but again, I strongly reccomend you call support. They'll be much better equiped to get you up and running quickly.
