I want to promote the member server to become a domain controler,which is running Unity 3.1 & E2k. This is a second Unity server in the domain for the remote location. This domain has only two Unity 3.x servers running e2k. Q: Need to know if I can promote the member server to DC without dirupting the Unity/e2k install on this server?

One more quick question.

Can I change the IP address for this win2k member server before upgarading to DC? We will be shipping this server (Unity 3.1 & E2k) to the remote location and we want minimum configuration done at the remote site.

Yes you can change the IP too.
