Unknown Problems are preventing connection to Server

Unity version 3.12b tsp 6.02b VMO 3.13. office XP 2002


One of my sites with the above configuration has a user who cannot rec/playback messages over the phone (TRAP) He gets the following error:

"unknown problems are preventing connection to server"

The user can record and playback voice messages using his multi media devices but wants to use the phone.

His machine and the unity server are both running mcafee anti-virus software but we have disabled both.

he is on the same class of service as other users in the site who are not experiencing the problem.

The only unique factor is he is running XP with Outlook 2002.

p.s. i thought i might be running into CSCdv23404 ( unknown problems are preventing connection to server) but this is a reolved caveat in the VMO 3.13 release notes.

That bug indicates the fix was on the server side though... you are running 3.1(2) on the server and it wasn't fixed on the server side till 3.1(2.28)... you need to upgrade your server to get around this.
