Unsubscribe ip services login on several phones in one operation

There is a way to unsubscribe one service to a bunch of telephones in one

operation only. In our case, we want to unsubscribe approximatly 800 telephones to the Extension Mobility Login. We know that it is possible to SUBSCRIBE by using the BULK but we didn't find a way to UNSUBSCRIBE.

We need the info very fast.

The Call manager doesnt have this option for bulk unsubscription. You have to unsubcribe individually.

Re: Unsubscribe ip services login on several phones in one opera

Although there is no direct support for this, here is a possible workaround.

If you are running Seaview, try BAT export feature.

- Export phones to a CSV file. Use export all option.

- Remove contents between IP services tag in exported CSV for the

phones, you want to unsubscribe the service.

- Delete the phones

- Reinsert the modified exported file using BAT insert all feature.

I suggest to do this only when you are sure that you don't have any

other workaround/solution.

Further, you must try this workaround, first in your lab since exported

CSV file with all phone details is not much user friendly. Any mistake

while editing the export all CSV file, will result into multiple errors

while attempting to reinsert it. Look at the view sample file link on

insert phones page to determine the format of the exported file.

Re: Unsubscribe ip services login on several phones in one opera

i had a problem where I added services to 200 hundred phones and didnt want to.

the way to back out of this was to remove the services from Call Manager, update subscriptions and then re-subscribe as necessary.
