Unsuccessful upgrade to 3.1(2c)

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade the CM to 3.1(2c) but after the installation, when the program asks if I want the system to reboot and I answer yes, the system does not reboot. I have to power cycle it and of course it remains with the old version. I wait for about 20 minutes before I do it.Isn't it enough? I have performed the upgrade to other -smaller- IP telephony networks and I did not have such problems. What can be wrong? I am talking for an IP telephony network of one cluster with two CMs (7835) and about 100 IP phones (and users plus device profiles...). Thanks,

Hi,

I just upgraded my Cisco CallManager (MCS7835) from 3.0(9) to 3.1(2c)successfully.

First, make sure your old version is 3.0(x) up in order to upgrade to 3.1(2c).

Second, upgrade WIN2000 server service pack 2 b4 upgrade to 3.1(2c)

Third, upgrade Firmware BOIS for MCS 7835.

Fourth, install 3.1(2c)

Thats what i did.
