Often when I invoke a tool from the Tools Depot, I'm advised there's an updated version of the tool on the Web. I go there, and sure enough, there's a downloadable new tool. I've tried downloading and extracting the new tool into the folder occupied by the old tool, replacing existing files, but get the same "there's a new version..." message again when I fire up what I thought would be the new tool. Is there a clean way to periodically refresh the Tools Depot content?

You need to download the updated version off the web page and run the setup in there - don't extract files and copy them - the setups from the tools will automatically update the registry keys used by Tools Depot to point to the latest version.

OK, got it; thanks.
