upgrade Cisco Unity 4.02 from MS Echange 5.5 to Exchange 2003

Hi,

I'm not sure where and also what attributes are added from the unity into the Exchange 5.5. Maybe these are stored into the binary libary?

Is there a known problem while upgrading to version exchange 2003?

kind regards

Markus

Re: upgrade Cisco Unity 4.02 from MS Echange 5.5 to Exchange 200

Unity doesn't add new attributes to Exchange 5.5 - we create a new folder (Unity) in the directory and store our location objects there but these objects are merely mail user objects we use for our purposes - Extending the Exchange 5.5 schema is technically possible (though very difficult) but we do not use it - the data we add for subscribers, distribution lists and location objects are all stored on standard Exchange properties.

Short story, nothing Unity does in Exchange 5.5 is going to cause a problem when you decide to upgrade to 2000/2003 later.
