I have a 3.0 Call Manager running on MCS 7830. I want to upgrade this to 3.3 Call Manager running on MCS 7835. My question is how do I extract all the information from 3.0 Call manager like users name, description, extension no, phone type and MAC address so then I can put it into Excel csv format and import into 3.3 using BAT. If anyone has a tool to do this or know of a better way to upgrade please let me know.
Secondly, you will see by reading the upgrade document the best way to backup all of your CallManager configuration is to use the Cisco IP Telephony Applications Backup Utility. You should already be using this as a best practice on your existing CallManager. By backing up your CM data rebuilding CM in case of a catastrophic event will require nothing more than installing the OS, instaliing CM, and restoring your info with the .sti backup file created when you run the Cisco IP Telephony Applications Backup Utility.
