Upgrade from 3.1(4b) to 3.3(2) cpu usage pinned

After I upgraded my cpu usage is pinned at 100% and the ccm.exe is using 50% of my processes. WHen i stop the ccm.exe it goes back down to 0%. I tried installing the 3.2(c) patch but it did not help?

This depends on a lot of factors...number of phones and gateways, protocols in use, type and speed of processor, etc. What was the CPU running before the upgrade? Are phones functioning correctly when it is like this? A TAC case is need to get to the bottom of this definitivly, but check the general parmeters for loads on a server. Here are the data sheet for what each server can handle:

Hi,

I see the same thing upgrading from 3.2.2 to 3.3.2 The CPU goes to 100% and the ccm.exe takes about 80-95% af the resources. I haven't been able to find a solution to this, and I also did the upgrade to SpC on 3.3.2. Did you find a solution?

Done this kind of upgrade 10 times before, and haven't seen this problem before this week-end, maybe something went wrong importing the database...

upgrade caueses 100% cpu on ccm when template inculeds null

Release note:

Symptom:

CCM.exe operates at 100% cpu during install.

Condition:

Customer had created a phone template with no buttons as a work a round for

another ddts.

Workaround:

Run bat file from CSCdx16259.

I posted the batch file that you need to run as a workaround. This should get things working.

Here are the download instructions:

The file names are:

* InsertPhoneButtons.bat

To get these files, please do the following...

1. With a Netscape or Internet Explorer web browser open

the following URL:

http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/specialaccess.cgi

2. Enter all your details and at the 'Special Access Code' prompt,

enter in ZLSOVFIZ

3. Click on the 'Submit' button. This will bring you

to a web page listing your files for pickup.

4. Select each file listed. Each selection will take

you to the Software Download web page; click on any

Site listed to download your file to your local disk.

My issue of CPU overload is not during the upgrade but after having updgrading for 3.2.2c to 3.3.2 the CPU stays all the time to 95% with the ccm.exe

Do you think that your download can solve my issue.

Can you explain me the relation between my issue and this download ?
