upgrade from 3.x to 4.x

Is it possible to do a fresh install of 4.02 on a current 3.x system instead of an upgrade? We purchased an upgrade to 4 but we want to wipe the system clean and do a fresh install.

Sure... just run the uninstall on the 3.x system and it'll clean things off for you. You can get the latest Unity uninstall from its home here:

thanks jeff. Just wanted to make sure there were no restrictions in doing that regarding licensing.

as long as you have a valid 4.0(2) license, you can do what you like here - there's no restriction on "upgrade" vs. "new install" in the licensing for Unity.
