Upgrade from CCM 3.1(4b) to CCM 3.3.3 on an ICS-7750
I ordered the CCM 3.3.3 upgrade kit which has CIPT 2000.2.4. Steps taken: 1) Loaded W2K from the SPE install CD, 2) Loaded System Manager v2.6.0, and 3) Loaded CIPT 2000.2.4. The ICS-7750 CCM 3.3.2 and System Manager 2.6.0 Upgrade procedure said to load CIPT 2000.2.3, but that did not come with the CCM 3.3.3 upgrade kit. Those first three steps worked great. When I tried to load CCM 3.3.3, I got the error message OS does not meet minimum level. I was able to find a copy of CIPT 2000.2.3 and I am trying to use that. My other problem is the Upgrade procedures also call for loading CCM 3.3.2. I also was able to obtain a copy of CCM 3.3.2. This is a big waste to time loading CIPT 2000.2.3 and CCM 3.3.2 when I want to end up with either CIPT 2000.2.4 or 2000.2.5 and CCM 3.3.3. More steps and More time.
How do I upgrade an ICS-7750 from CCM 3.1(4b) directly to CCM 3.3.3 without going to CCM 3.3.2 and CIPT 2000.2.3 first?
Re: Upgrade from CCM 3.1(4b) to CCM 3.3.3 on an ICS-7750
I just finished upgrading my ICS7750 to 3.3(3). Don't waste your time with the 2000.3.3 software, you can go directly to 2000.2.5. After you reimage your SPE load SM 2.6.2, then load OS 2000.2.5. Then load CCM 3.3(3). I didn't load any Service packs until after I completed the CCM 3.3(3) install and everything is working great. You can download the 2000.2.5 software from the CCO page on the web. Also, the following document does a great job of walking you through the upgrade process.
Installing System Software Rel 2.6.0 and CCM 3.3(2) on Cisco ICS 7750
Even though it says 3.3(2), the procedures are the same for 3.3(3) on the 7750. If you'll send me your e-mail address, I'll send this document to you.
