Upgrade to 3.0

The customer has changed their mind prior to install, they want to go to 3.0.X. The documentation is a little unclear on just how this is done. Since they do not have SQL 2000, and Exchange 2000 or 2000 Server right now, does the downloads for Unity CD1, CD2, and so on solve that. Or should I procure the software separately? Secondly, there is mention of a new upgrade key, is it the same process for getting on for 3.0, via TAC email?<br><br>

Unity 2.4 to 3.0 is a pay upgrade unless you have a SASU support contract so calling TAC and trying to get an upgrade code it definitely never going to work.

The customer will need a SASU contract to upgrade from 2.4 to 3.0. If they have the contract they must order an upgrade kit which will include SQL, etc. They order it online at:
http://www.cisco.com/upgrade

If they do not have a contract you will need to work through your normal channels to return it and order 3.0.
