Upgrade to CCM 4.3 from CCM4.1 (BARS Issue)

Hello everybody,

I need to upgrade to CCM 4.3(2) from CCM 4.1(3), any has already achieve it.

If possible give me step by step to do it as OS for CCM 4.3 is 2003.1.1.

I have another question, i've already installer a new CCM 4.3(2) in a new server, and i tried to import CCM (4.1(3)) Backup file but i got the message

"The Cisco Unified Communications archive appears to be version 4.1(3), whereas the installed Cisco Unified Communications is 4.3(2), you need to install Cisco Unified Communications 4.1(3) in order to restore this data.

"

whereas, the archive file was backup with the Cisco BARS 4.0.12.

Any Ideas????

Naoufal,

I don't see any install/upgracde information on 4.3(2), just 4.3(1). Go Here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/prod_installation_guides_list.html

There is a "Replacing Servers During the Upgrade" section, you will need to read that. I have not upgraded to 4.3 yet, but this is where I'd start.

In this guide it says "You must install the same version of Cisco Unified CallManager on the new server as was installed on the old server. "

I think that is your problem.
