Is there anyway to use UpgradeLicense.exe (or another utility) to get the Unity 3.1(x) dongle's serial number from a command-line? If I am going to automate the collection of this number, I don't want to use a GUI. Any thoughts? Thanks.<br><br>
There's no command line tool handy for this, hasn't been any call for it. There's a COM interface you can use to get at the license manager that will spit it out programatically for you if you want to go that route. Ping me off line and I can set you up with the details for how to do that... be aware this interface will change somewhat with 4.x when it comes out since we're switching from the dongle security key to the FlexLM package that uses a software only security system.
