You need to install the current DevPack for 4.0 to add support for the 7941/7961 model phones. This requires a reboot since you are adding support for another model device. I believe this also needs to be on 4.0(2a) with sr2 or higher, if i remember correctly offhand. The devpack will also update the firmware system wide to the current versions that came with the devpack (see the readme for the devpack to get version numbers).
