Upgrading CM

I am upgrading a 400 user office from CallManager v3.34 to 4.1

I will be using new hardware for the install. Is there anyway you can backup all of the user specific things - speed dials, address book ,...and then have it migrated to the new server? I found doc-DCDIrectory_USerMigration on the Cisco site that explains it but it seems like it it saying that you would have to do it on a per user basis. In essence execut a script per user...well for a large office that isnt really realistic.

Please advise.
