Ok here is the problem. I am running Call Manager 3.0.6 I need to move forward on this fast and do some big upgrades. I would like to bring myself as currect as I can. I am sure alot of you have done this, I am looking for those that have did it to maybe give me pointers along the way as I try and place a project plan together.
What are the Risks?
What is the easy path to take?
Since I am running Unity 2.4 what errors will I have?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Steven,
Risk - A subjective matter, but I would consider staying on 3.0(6) more of a risk than upgrading!
Path - At the very minimum you need to upgrade to 3.0(12) first, then move on from there. If you want to go all the way to 3.3 you need to progress first to 3.1(4)a minimum. If you want to upgrade to 3.3, you will need to order the CDs as this version is not downloadable.
Check the compatibility matrix which has all this information:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_callmg/ccmcomp.htm
Unity 2.4 - depending on what release of 2.4 you may need to upgrade. At the very least you will probably need a new TSP (again see the matrix).
And the common sense part.....backup your servers fully before any upgrade, preferably with a full disk image.
regards, Mark.

Hi Steven -
i agree, its is definitely worth upgrading. The BEST piece of advice i can give anyone doing an upgrade is to preserve a hard drive before upgrading so you can revert to it if necessary. Check out the linke below.
