Upgrading from Unity 3.1.5 to newest Unity Version
I am thinking of doing an upgrade from 3.15 to the latest unity version. We use exchange 2k as our message store. Typically we have a vendor doing our software upgrades... Is this fairly simple to do or are there any major gotchas things to look out for etc I should know? Generally is it a smooth process?
Re: Upgrading from Unity 3.1.5 to newest Unity Version
It isn't as simple as installing a Microsoft service pack.
During the installation you will be required to create on new domain account for the Unity server and a few other manual steps. We wrap most of the work around fairly straight forward wizards but if you have never done a Unity install I could see you getting in a situation where you would be stuck or make an error. Of course if you have a specific technical problem you can contact TAC but note that TAC won't actually walk you through the upgrade.
