upgrading the Windows OS on a CallManager

I have the win-OS-Upgrade-K9.2000-2-5-Readme.htm document.

Not being a windows person I am confused by the following in the Pre-Upgrade considerations

====================================================

· Before the upgrade, you must disable all Cisco-approved antivirus/intrusion detection services (HIDS); for example, Entercept, MacAfee, Cisco Security Agent, Prognosis, and so on. You must enable all services after you complete the upgrade.

· Close all programs before proceeding.

====================================================

the Callmanger software runs as a service, but it does not say that the Callmanger service is stopped

So I take it it is left running during the upgrade

excuse my ignorance on this.. Richard.

It's only necessary to disable the antivirus software. All other services will be stopped as necessary after you begin the upgrade.
