I am having trouble understanding how this PTT button works on a 7921. Using CCM 5.1, I can program the PTT URL and point it to a web server that allows me to capture the request and issue Executes on the appropriate phones. I cannot figure out is when I release the button, how do I stop transmission? Is there a way to capture the button release? I can find nothing on CCO to illustrate this. I guess I am looking to use URLDOWN/URL xml tags that I would normally use on a softkey for applications like intercom or page.

Have a button which has the urldown url set to something like
RTPTx:ipaddress:port
And the url set to
RTPTx:Stop
This will transmit while the button is being pressed, and stop transmission when you release it.
Naturally, you could inverse the two to have a mute button.
