Use SIP internally on CallManager

Hi all,

Is it possible to configure CallManager to use SIP internally?

I would like to use two SIP enabled 7960 internally utilizing CallManager. From what I read, I have setup a SIP Trunk on callmanager but from there the info is kinda confusing.

I do not need to call out externally, just need to test out some SIP based calls in the lab. Any help is appreciated!

Re: Use SIP internally on CallManager

Hi Alex, SIP endpoints calls are not available until CCM 5.X

If you want that a SIP 7960 calls another SIP 7960 u need a SIP Proxy,

Try CCM 5.X or use asterisk (my favourite)

Thanks for the info. It's good to know which version supports it. Thanks, I will check out asterisk.
