The reason behind the question, is simply becasue when trying to assocatiate a device with a user which currently has approx. 56 other associations the following error occurs:
The following error occurred while trying to execute the command.
Could not update user.
Unable to read the User from directory
From what I can gather there does not appear to be any underlying problem with the DCD, I can create a user and associate a device with that user. I can also authenticate the same user against all CCMs in the cluster, which would indicate that there is no replication problems.
However, every attempt to associate a another device with the specific user the above error occurs.
