User device associations

Has anyone experienced a limitation in the number of devices you can associate with a single user ?? Is there a limit ??

Re: User device associations

I have not seen a published limit. I have seen customers with ~1000 devices associated before.

Re: User device associations

The reason behind the question, is simply becasue when trying to assocatiate a device with a user which currently has approx. 56 other associations the following error occurs:

Error

The following error occurred while trying to execute the command.

Could not update user.

Unable to read the User from directory

undefined

From what I can gather there does not appear to be any underlying problem with the DCD, I can create a user and associate a device with that user. I can also authenticate the same user against all CCMs in the cluster, which would indicate that there is no replication problems.

However, every attempt to associate a another device with the specific user the above error occurs.

Re: User device associations

Can you try changing something about that particular user, the PIN or the telephone number.

Re: User device associations

You can update the user without any problem, it appears to be when you try to associate a further device.
