user ID -> phone IP address

Does anyone know of a way to query CallManager/CRA to get the IP address of the phone into which a user is currently logged?

For example, say that the user with user ID "bill" has logged into phone 192.168.1.1. How can I send a query to CallManager/CRA with user ID "bill", and receive back the response "192.168.1.1"?

I have been trying to figure out how to do this for several weeks now, but have only hit dead ends. Thanks in advance for any help.
