Using ADA Elevator phones with VG248 or ATA188

We are trying to make our Elevator phones, ADA compliant devices that you simply push a button on to call an emergency number, work thru our VG248s or ATA188s with Call Manager. We have set up partitions and search spaces for this task and it works with a regular analog phone just not with the ADA compliant ones, hands free devices on some.

Does anyone have any experience with these and VG248s or ATA188s?

I am not sure if you are having a Problem to operate ADA Devices Physically or to make the ADA Devices dial the Emergency Number Automatically as soon as the Line is hanged Up. If you are asking about the Second case , we performed this Setup Before.

You need to configure a Translation Pattern that is member in the same Partition as the Elevators Phones Registered on the VG248 through the Callmanager.

The Transalation Pattern will include Empty Pattern and in the Calling Party Transform Mask under < Calling Party > enter the Emergrncy Number.

This way will make the ADA Phones dial the Emergency Number as soon as the Line is Hanged Up.
