I m in a university accommodation in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom..
Here we have a broadband internet connection provided by the university through Ethernet (LAN) but many of the ports r blocked due to firewall by university so some programs dont work.
I want to use SIP Service by Brain Tel, i have tried using it throug SIP Softphones such as X-lite and when i m using the university internet i m not able to connect to it.. back at home, from other internet companies i can connect to it...but not from university's internet
.Does ur company offer any solution so that i can use the university's internet (which has some ports blocked ) to connect to my sip provider..
