Using # to bypass dial pattern timeout

When we originally installed our Call Managers - 3.1.1 - we were able to hit # to tell the system to quit searching the dial patterns and go ahead and send the call. After a minor upgrade this feature went away. Then, I upgraded to 3.3(2) Sp B and it came back. Now after upgrading to Sp C it's gone away again. Is there some way to re-enable this feature?

I'm not sure why it should have kept disappearing in and out like that but you should check your route patterns. Are they defined (9.1! etc.) or are they using 9.@.

if it's the first then check that there is a # version of the route pattern so 9.1! and 9.1!#.

If it's 9.@ then it has anybody changed the NANP file between version.
