VAD with SoftPhone and Speaker use (7960), although disabled

Hello everybody,

We are running CM 3.1, and our voice gateway is a 6509 with an E1 blade...

Either by SoftPhone or by using the phone's speaker, at moments of inactivity the VAD 'service' seems to be applied. The corresponding Service Parameters from CM are set to False ! The SoftPhone's VAD option is set to Low (ver 1.3.2a) ! I even experimented (regarding the SoftPhone) by the CoS settings for my (and a test target's) port - (3524-XL-EN switch).

Especialy for our SoftPhone user is a very irritating situation ! Any suggestions ?

You may also want to enable traces in Call manager to troubleshoot this issue
