I am running CCM 3.3(3), with a vg248 1.2(1). I can only seem to get stutter to work on the phone. I have changed the settings to lamp on both the ccm and the vg248 port and it does not work. I did read on the web about issues with some older analog phones and the lamps not being able to work. Does anyone have any idea why the lamps will not work. I have verified that the css and partions are correct, but when I do dial the mwi on and off numbers from the analog devices I get a busy tone.
In older versions of firmware 1.0(1) there was an open bug that pertained to MWI voltage capabilites of the 248. Note: Resolution is to replace phone with type that supports proper voltage output of VG248.
CSCdu79519: Voltage might be too low for Message Waiting Indication (MWI) lamps on some phones.
