We use CM 3.3.3, sr 3 and have vg248's providing our patients analog service. Occasionally they must be doing something or hitting a wrong button on their phones which sets a forwarding number. Sometimes when I look, its just a few digits, causing busies when you call it because its not a valid number, and sometimes its an entire number with 9 in front, so it goes to someones house when you call the pt extension. In the feature codes of the vg248, there is nothing listed for call forward, its blank.. In fact the only thing there is **4 programmed for a pickup. I've set call control mode to basic just recently for all their extensions, but was reading and it seems basic mode only prevents transfers, but call forward was same for any control mode. How is it happening that the phones occasionally have a call forward all target. help??

Using Cisco CallManager 3.2 or 3.3, do not enter any values in the Port Specific fields of the Phone Configuration window. These fields are not operational using the VG248 1.2(1) software. You must configure these settings locally on the VG248.
Call Control Mode 'Restricted' will only allow the following 'features' for attached analogs: -
