After installation of Viewmail, which installs fine, Outlook hangs. The only to to get out is to kill the process and remove the installation of Viewmail.

Anyone seen this type of a problem. Have read about installation problems but nothing on this type of a problem.

The problem was two fold. Most of the systems were Dell OptiPlex's and most had the Yamaha software installed. Also found out that Virus scanners had to be stopped. Sometimes the install would fail, other times Outlook would hang. By removing the Yamaha software and exiting the VS, everything worked fine.

We too have had these problems - Yamaha/Virus scaning removal solved 98% - but we still have 2% of our clients with TfXExt32.dll errors on Outlook which prevent Viewmail from working at all (some with those errors can be ignored and they just don't get ViewMail menu options but they have the form - a small number don't work at all.

Anyone else run into a fix for the TfXExt32.dll issue?

We're on Unity 3.1(5) and Viewmail 3.1(5.0)
